What Is Executive Coaching?

Every leader has a unique set of qualities, which makes them who they are and contributes to where they are placed on the corporate ladder.
Each leader also faces a unique set of challenges composed of a combination of external circumstances and their inner state of being that hold them back from achieving higher outcomes. Even though a leader has the entire workforce at their disposal, there is a persistent feeling among leaders that “it is very lonely at the top.”
Under these circumstances who can the leader safely turn to for guidance and steady growth?

We at IATL believe that an individual’s best guide is their own Self.
This guidance comes from the Core – the deepest dimension of their being. Most individuals are not tuned in to receive this guidance and rely on it. A leader may receive various inputs from a number of different sources. However, it is ultimately up to the leader to evaluate and assimilate what they discern to be important.

Leaders who are equipped with the ability to tune in to their Core, have access to higher decision-making powers as well as the energy or fuel required to drive results.

Top leaders often fall into the trap of feeling that they know best, possibly because of the vast experience that they bring to the table or because of the successes they have already achieved in the past.

This lack of openness has a direct impact on their ability to learn and grow and may get in the way of finding new successes. A leader is often defined by their ability to –

  • Steer the organisation through uncharted waters in times of uncertainty
  • Take difficult decision
  • Be worthy of emulation by the people who they lead

Therefore, leadership is about striking a fine balance between an expression of one’s Core Self and seeking help when required.

IATL’s Executive Coaching Model helps leaders reconnect with their Core Self. We help leaders embark on a journey of Self Discovery, leading to personal and professional breakthrough. We also provide the space and structure necessary for self-reflection, learning and growth.

IATL provides the tools necessary to explore and effectively deal with –

  • Internal blocks (emotional)
  • Self-limiting beliefs
  • Fears and insecurities

We also provide tips and techniques to –

  • Access the source of unlimited positive energy
  • Explore & express innate yet often hidden talents and qualities

Rating:

As a business leader, it’s made me more conscious and I have realised through successfully completing the recommended practises, I have developed a “sixth sense” that really helps me understand and appreciate “the core” of each conversation. Whether it be an informal discussion with a friend or a formal boardroom meeting, I can pinpoint the exact core or reason behind a particular exchange, before it is mentioned or in many cases without the speaker being aware of it themselves. Developing this trait further in our “new normal” world is simply priceless.”
